Plantex Nursery maintains stands in seven Trade Markets across Victoria from our wholesale production nursery in Clyde, South East Melbourne, Victoria. These markets bring together more than 100 wholesale growers and suppliers, providing approved trade customers with convenient access to a diverse range of quality nursery stock.

Through our Trade Market stands, customers can access Plantex-grown seasonal colour, shrubs, groundcovers, herbs and vegetable seedlings, supported by professional service and more than 37 years of nursery experience.

We work with retail nurseries, landscapers, garden centres and industry professionals throughout Victoria and Australia, helping them source quality plants backed by reliable supply and expert growing knowledge.

Our stands are restocked on a fixed weekly cycle, so you know when the freshest stock lands at the market you buy from.

On the stand you will find potted colour in 100mm, 140mm and 205mm, flowering annuals, shrubs, groundcovers, F1 hybrid herb and vegetable seedlings and seasonal lines including tomato seedlings in season.

Every pot we send to market carries a barcode with our supplier code. If you have bought stock you were happy with and want more of the same, the code on the label is how to find it.

Delivering beyond the markets

If a market stand does not suit, we deliver directly. Metro runs go out Tuesday to Friday, we run to the Bass Coast every Thursday, and we go as far north as Mickleham on Thursdays. Regional and interstate customers collect from Clyde Monday to Wednesday, and many use a specialist plant transporter. Van Berkel Plant Transport, Nielsen’s Nursery & Co, Rangeview Transport and Rosewood Nursery Transport all pick up from us most weeks.
