Spring & Summer 2023
The thought of Tomato season brings with it the joy of the spring and summer to come. In the depths of winter Jason and I are sorting and sowing seeds to ensure we have those early batches of tomato seedlings ready for you.
Our first batch for the season has just about sold out and we are in the last week of July!
Be sure to ask about the Plantex-branded Romas and Apollos, we have carefully selected some outstanding hybrid varieties to ensure the home gardener has the best possible chance for a fantastic crop of tomato’s. This year I am excited to add to our Tomato Patio Range, we have 2 new products. Patio Roma and Patio Cherry making the range complete now we have a Slicer, Roma and Cherry all in the compact determinate form perfect for pots and balcony edible gardens.

Working closely with our suppliers I have selected some new stock for this season.
The Sunbeckia series will be sure to impress with its long-lasting flower display we have selected 6 colours that I am sure everyone will be talking about.
From Dummen Orange, we are introducing Lavundula LaDiva Imperial an outstanding French Lavender be sure to ask the staff about it.
An old favorite of mine is the Dahlia, the range this year will consist of 7 colours in both green and dark-leaf varieties. One of my favorites is the massive double flower “punch”

Autumn & Winter 2022

Most people say Autumn is the best time of the year here in Melbourne and I tend to agree. Everyone is keen to welcome back the Pansy and Viola range, the cooler nights favour these popular annuals and whether planted en masse or just a splash they bring colour to any garden.
Be sure to check out the flowering displays at the Melbourne Grand Prix 2022, once again we have contract grown a great display of flowering plants that will impress for sure.
Our first batches of Primula Acaulis are filling the pots nicely and will be great additions to Winter gardens.
