Plantex Nursery provides wholesale nursery services throughout Melbourne and Victoria from our wholesale production nursery in Clyde, South East Melbourne. For more than 37 years, we have supplied retail nurseries, landscapers, councils and event organisers across Australia with quality plants, reliable service and professional growing expertise.
Our wholesale nursery services include plant supply, contract growing, trade market sales and weekly stock availability. We are committed to delivering healthy, high-quality plants and exceptional customer service to every customer.

Who we sell to
Plantex is a wholesale plant supplier in Melbourne, growing at Clyde and selling to the trade only.
We sell to retail nurseries and garden centres, landscapers, shire councils and event builders.
We do not sell to the public. If you are a home gardener, our plants are on the benches at independent garden centres across Victoria — look for the Plantex label.
What you need to open an account
- An ABN and registration as a trade buyer
- A minimum order of $300
- A phone call to the nursery on 03 5998 5552 or an email to sales@plantexnursery.com.au to get started
Once you are on the list, our stock availability list goes out every Friday afternoon so you can plan the week ahead.

Many regional customers use a specialist plant transporter. Van Berkel Plant Transport, Nielsen’s Nursery & Co, Rangeview Transport and Rosewood Nursery Transport all pick up from us most weeks.

Bayside and south-eastern — Albert Park, Malvern, Glen Huntly, Caulfield, Elwood, Sandringham, Cheltenham, Mentone, Parkdale, Heatherton and Braeside.
Peninsula and south — Pearcedale, Langwarrin, Mornington and Rye.
East and Gippsland — Beaconsfield and Drouin.
West — Werribee.
